Barry is respected nationally for his insight, instinct and agricultural know-how. His entrepreneurship began while he was attending college. In 1995, he started his first business as a cotton consultant. His acreage increased rapidly and his customers gained record yields. Word spread and in 1996, he was awarded the National Cotton Consultant of the Year.
That attention didn’t stop within the US borders. Barry was sought out by the Bolivian government to help solve a national crisis – they needed to increase their agriculture productivity to meet the needs of their population. Barry moved to Bolivia to work closely with farmers and officials. While there he helped restore their hope and he left with knowledge that can’t be taught in a classroom.
Barry brought that knowledge back to the U.S. and formed AgXplore in 1999. AgXplore began with a handpicked team that thrived on innovative technology. While the company has flourished, the core value that Barry set years ago remains the same – people matter.
Tim developed a love for sales and business development while attending the University of Missouri, where he earned a BSBA in finance and banking. Prior to joining AgXplore Tim worked in the financial industry for fifteen years. During this time he also owned and managed several real estate investment entities.
Joining AgXplore during the early years gave Tim the opportunity to work closely with the company’s founder to develop and implement strategic growth initiatives. Tim’s experience working for some of the nation’s most prestigious financial companies has given him vision and insight into what a world class organization looks like and drives him to help move AgXplore in a winning direction.
With AgXplore’s growth, Misti McBride was brought in to develop the Marketing and Communications Department. Her primary role is to expand the product brands and international identity. Misti coordinates and manages multi-media advertising, web development, communications and helps guide the sales team.
Prior to joining AgXplore, Misti was a Senior Marketing Consultant and partnered with the nations leading agriculture retailers. Through strategic planning, she worked closely with management teams to develop brand awareness, company identity, event planning and incentive programs.
Misti is a member of the National Agri Marketing Association. She and her family live on a small farm.
Shane Van Fleet joined our team after building his career within the Crop Production Services organization. Shane is an experienced agronomist with a vast knowledge of crops and soil types. He is a farmer himself so he understands the importance of ROI. Shane’s real gift is the way he is able to communicate with his audience. He understands the competitive market and relies on his professional experience to lead others.
Brandon works closely with university and industry experts to constantly develop new products that will lead the market. His primary role is to bring products to the field that out-perform the competition with a high return on investment to the grower. Other responsibilities include technical support and product registration.
Brandon feels fortunate that his position at AgXplore affords him the opportunity to have a mentor like Barry – and to truly make a difference to the farmer’s bottom line. “For over a decade, I’ve had the privilege of promoting and consulting with customers on how to increase their production with the AgXplore product line,” he says.
Brandon’s passion for agriculture stems from a long family history of farming. Both of his grandfathers were farmers and Brandon’s father and older brother still farm today. He treats AgXplore customers as if they were his family. Brandon earned a B.S. degree in Agronomy from Southeast Missouri State University and his M.S degree from Arkansas State University.
Woody’s extensive experience within the industry makes him truly one of the best. He has an in-depth understanding of crop protection products, crop nutrients, seed and custom application services. His experience was acquired through his years of leading large ag retail and wholesale teams such as Agriliance and Terra Industries to growth and profitability. His primary focus with AgXplore is to gain market share. He works with national distributors, dealers and cooperatives to market the AgXplore product line. Arkansas State is his alma mater but calls Memphis, TN home.
